What does Northview offer for psychiatric care?

Northview Village is the largest long-term care facility in the state of Missouri. Pioneering programs in mental health rehabilitation and psychiatric long-term care. Northview Village offers long term psychiatric care and rehabilitation to males and females 25 and up. Our ultimate goal is to help our residents obtain the tools to live independently in the community. Northview Village specializes in schizophrenia care, PTSD, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. We also specialize in caring for people who need both medical and psychiatric care. We offer daily groups, group therapy, and individual therapy. Monthly visits from our psychiatrists and medical director provides complete medical and psychiatric oversite.

Northview Village offers the following groups to help our residents achieve independence,

  • DRA – Dual Recovery anonymous
  • Mood Disorder Class
  • Substance Abuse Class
  • Coping Skills
  • Hygiene Class
  • Music Therapy
  • Meditation Class
  • Life skills class (money management, reading, and writing)

If you or a loved is interested in placement at Northview Village and currently in the hospital please have your social worker and/or discharge planner contact Chris Bradenburg at 314-799-3518 or by email at chris.bradenburg@hma-usa.com. Each potential resident is carefully reviewed by our Director of Nursing to ensure that we can meet your needs.

If you or a loved are currently at home or living in an RCF you will need to provide the
following documentation for review;

  • History and Physical
  • List of current medications
  • Level 2 screening (Current)
